Instructor Fisheries Sciences

The School of Fisheries Marine Institute is looking for a
INSTRUCTOR (FISHERIES SCIENCE)
– (Permanent Position)

DUTIES
The successful applicant will be the team leader for the maintenance, growth and development of academic and research programs related to fisheries science in the School of Fisheries. This will include the delivery of courses in existing programs within the Institute as well as the development of new programs, curriculum and research in areas related to fisheries science.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (5-10 years) in the North Atlantic or similar fisheries ecosystems and experience engaging the fishing industry in collaborative education and research activities; possession of a Ph.D. in fisheries science or a closely related discipline; an equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.  Curriculum development and teaching experience at the post-secondary level is required.

SALARY                      Commensurate with Marine Institute Instructors’ Collective Agreement
