The programme is aimed at talented young scientists and academics who have completed a promising doctoral thesis. It is designed to help them further develop their scientific excellence effectively.
Funding will be provided by the Initiative and Networking Fund of the Helmholtz Association. Successful candidates will receive an annual grant of €100,000 for a period of up to three years, setting the maximum amount of funding at €300,000. Funding from the President’s Initiative and Networking Fund amounts up to 50,000 € per year, the remaining costs have to covered by the host Helmholtz Centre. Your postdoctoral position will be at GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel, Germany.
