The newly established working group “Institutional & Behavioural Economics” at the Leibniz Center for Tropical Marine Ecology GmbH (Leibniz-ZMT GmbH) in Bremen, Germany, is looking for an economist (Master degree or equivalent), who is interested in behavioural economics and is ready to do experiments on environmental awareness of users of coastal resources (reefs and beaches) in the Philippines.
The PhD candidate will get a three years contract The start of the contract can be at the moment the suitable candidate has been found. The PhD in Economics will be done at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Jacobs University Bremen. We expect the ability to work in a team, good communication and writing skills in English, basic analytical skills in econometrics, experimental design and empirical research methods and particularly commitment for the project. First experience in working in developing countries is an advantage.
