The Institute of Marine and Coastal Sciences (IMCS) of the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking applications for 3 new state-funded, tenure-track positions in key areas of relevant biological, physical, geological and/or chemical sciences. Positions will be filled at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, depending upon the qualifications.
The successful candidates will be expected to establish a strong, externally-funded research program and teach classes in general areas related to their field of expertise at both the undergraduate and graduate level. The positions require a PhD degree in an appropriate area of biological, physical, geological and/or chemical sciences and a competitive record of publication, as well as evidence of the ability to conduct and fund an active research program.
